Matthew 11:12: And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of Heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force
Let me put it this way. Since the very day a path/channel was prepared and made straight for Christ (Mark 1:3) to come lay down HIS life for us to retrieve back our dominion, till now. You’ve got to fight your way through.
I love the part that says the violent taketh it by force.🔥
When I checked Google for the meaning of violent. I found some bad synonyms like bloodthirsty, fierce, brutal, terrorizing.
Don’t get me wrong I don’t mean you should be violent in the physical sense. Remember we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities and power, rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places – Ephesians 6:12
I got to know that violent men can kill😫. A violent man is a soldier on the battiefield with zero compromise, always firing.🤔
Violent men are men with fire in their bones. Mind you, these men are people who live a Christ centered life, not a self centered life driven/led by the Spirit of the God.
You think the devil wants you to have a consistent prayer or worded life, he’ll make you sleep off during prayers and study😢. Do you think he wants you to take over territories? Remember he told Jesus, “If u can bow down and worship me, you see these kingdoms, I’ll give you”
The guy (devil) knows we are ENFORCERS of the will of God, to take over territories (Matthew 6:10) and he knows your weaknesses
Don’t blame your pastor, mentors or spiritual fathers if they are too strict. It’s simply because life is war, your spiritual growth is WAR. ONLY THE VIOLENT TAKETH IT BY FORCE. No wonder, Apostle Paul told us to put on the whole armour of God in Ephesians 6:11
This is to stir you up, even me.
Refuel or charge up if you are running low. Remember Zechariah 4:6: “Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying , Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, saith the Lord of hosts“
if you find yourself struggling, run to God. It’s only by His Spirit you can prevail.
